Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.
The Lord Mayor and trustees have expressed their approval, citing it as the best in the 5-year history of the organisation, and created their first part time comms staff member, which I recommended in my final report.
My aim was to demonstrate to the organisation that moving image was a fluent part of their comms output and didn’t need to be either cost prohibitive or seen as something which falls outside of their core web and print production. I also wanted to demonstrate that by having a consultant who could both commission and create material, they in fact saved time and crucially built valuable relationships with their partners and stake-holders, because the whole process was managed by one person rather than handing that relationship over to an external film company.
In addition a created an extra film within the allocated production time to add to another campaign – the mental health ‘This is Me’ initiative.
